Cooking an egg on the sidewalk in Oklahoma

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mcbee11 attempted to cook an egg on the pavement outside his Norman, Oklahoma, home on Monday. It was a blazing 102 degrees outside. 'I've been trying to stay inside and drink lots of water,' he said. 'I nearly sweated through my shirt filming the egg.' High temperatures and humidity are combining to make uncomfortable conditions for many across the United States. How hot is it where you live? Send us photos and videos.

Testing to see if an egg will cook on hot pavement in 100-degree heat.  Shot in Norman, OK on Monday, August 2, 2010.
