    OBAMACARE FOR DUMMIES

    This post almost needs no narrative. It’s a small wonder that Americans think that our government has gone haywire!

    This is an example of how our current Congress and Administration believe they will improve the lives of everyday Americans...while our economy continues to falter and our jobless rate is now expected to get higher before dropping.

    This is why we need to make some adjustments in November.

    FACT:  Four months ago Nancy Pelosi told Americans that Congress needed to pass Obamacare so Americans “can find out what’s in it". I didn’t make this up, she said it. Well folks, here it is for you.

    A congressional panel has released the first chart illustrating the 2,801 page health care bill that President Obama signed into law last March.

    You will note that I said the “first” chart. That is because congressional analysts could not fit the entire health care bill on one chart! They said that this chart only represents one-third of the total bill.

    Analysts note that the new Obamacare bureaucracy had created mandates, taxes and rationing that will in fact drive up health care costs.

    It’s no wonder that the majority of Americans are outraged by this legislation.

    FACT: Among other items the chart portrays:

    • $569 billion in higher taxes;
    • $529 billion in cuts to Medicare;
    • swelling of the ranks of Medicaid by 16 million;
    • 17 major insurance mandates; and
    • the creation of two new bureaucracies with powers to impose future rationing: the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute and the Independent Payments Advisory Board.

    Time for change folks.
