Oreos = "Fake Black People"?
Not judgemental one way or the other. Just wanted to ask: "Oreo" is usually used as a derogatory term against black people who tend to be educated, speak intelligently, have degrees and a good job.
Is it fair to categorize people in such a light? Are these people who have been categorized as "oreos" really betraying their african culture? Is it fair to consider someone who speaks "like a white person" to be considered a fake black person?
Just wanted to gather opinions on the issue. Thanks for sharing!
