SEN. JOE LIEBERMAN AT A MEETING IN HOLLYWOOD, SOUTH FLORIDA

Hollywood | Florida, July 21st, 2008. Traveling with (and on) the now famous STRAIGHT TALK EXPRESS, on his tour of South Florida, Sen. Joe Lieberman, (like a rock star!), was campaigning for support of locals voters, on behalf of Republican presidential candidate, John McCain. He made a first stop at a known dairy gourmet restaurant, Bon Ami, in Hollywood, Florida. A crowd of about 80-100 people consisting of regular customers, rabbis, the press, and congressional Republican canditate, Edward Lynch, Sr, (District 19) cheered upon Sen. Lieberman's arrival, at about 11.30AM. The Senator was accompanied by Florida House Representative (District 91) Ellyn Bogdanoff. Sen. Lieberman was warmly received, as a close friend and member of the community, by the locals, rabbis and friends. He blended with the crowd and greeted everybody casually and ina pleasant manner. He sat down, ordered a refreshment (a blended fruit drink) and a dairy sandwich. Sen. Lieberman spent an interesting time with people with whom he relates well and who expressed a willingness to vote for McCain, in an election that is one of the most important in US history and the outcome of which may again depend on Florida.
