This iReport is part of an assignment:
Tech talk |
Teletransportation...
Working and teaching at the University, Santiago, Chile...
My students, another professor and myself use Facebook as our "Mothership", which is linked to our Blogs, Twitter, Youtube, Wiki, iReport CNN, Google Docs, Ustream, Linkedin, Scribd and so on.
All students and professors are connected via Facebook.
Here in Chile, it is difficult to get books, they are very expensive or they simple do not show up...(?)
We teach English as a second language, Education and Theater and rely very much on Social Networking and New Media.
My students are very wise in using new media technology and we "take advantage" of their existing skills.
The majority of student´s assignments are uploaded via Facebook, Youtube, Google Docs or their Blogs etc.
Has it changed our lives?
No, it has tele-transported us in the 21st Century and connected with the rest of the world...
Photos from my laptop.
