Comedian Charles McBee gets heckled for Sarah Palin joke in Manhattan Comedy Club

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     cmcbee was in the middle of telling Sarah Palin jokes at a New York City comedy club last week when an audience member started heckling him about it. 'Usually I stayed away from political jokes but the more she attacks President Obama … She strikes a nerve so I like to make fun of her a little bit,' he said.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Comedian Charles McBee gets an unexpected Sarah Palin supporter at Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, after he makes a joke describing the difference between those he says have "special needs" and those whom he deems to be "retarded".

Quote: We can't say the word retard because Sarah Palin doesnt like it when we say retard, she would prefer we said special needs. Here's the thing I don't think Sarah Palin understands that there is a difference between those who are retarded and those who have special needs. Case in point, Sarah Palin has a son Trig. Trig Palin has down syndrome, Trig Palin has special needs, his mother on the other hand...

Things became a little  awkward after a Sarah Palin fan started shouting at the comedian on stage mid performance. A couple words were exchanged but the show went on as normal but not before Mr. McBee left the heckler with one more Sarah Palin joke for the road.
