    These were taken originally in the months following Katrina.  The new photos were taken in Aug 2010.

     

    Photo 1 - New Orleans across from Municipal Auditorium

    Photo 2 - Orleans Ave

    Photo 3 - St. Bernard Parish where a huge shrimp boat had floated into a neighborhood.  Anderson Cooper and Brian Williams frequently broadcasted from there after the storm.

    Photo 4&5 - St. Bernard of a house including its foundation in the middle of the street

    Photo 6 - lower 9th ward, a house on top of a truck

    Photo 7 - lower 9th ward, look closely at the writings on the house.  Someone was found dead in this house "1 DOA."
