    Still Standing Beside Him

I would of never of chosen to go through this deployment, but as a soon to be Army wife I do not have a choice because this is the job that my fiancé has chosen.  Kyle is currently serving in Iraq. I am so proud of him! I have realized since the beginning that I have to stay positive and make sure that he realizes that I support him 100%. This deployment has made us so much stronger. Our communications skills have improved and we cherish every minute that we get to talk. My fiancé's job is to support the troops that are still in Iraq. Just because all the combat troops are being pulled out I do not want people to forget that there are troops still there and they are still protecting our right to be free. I have had to put my personal opinions aside to truly understand that Kyle and the other soldiers that are defending our freedom are fighting a bigger battle. Their battle goes beyond the politics of this war. They are making a difference in this world. I am proud to stand by a man whose integrity shines through no matter the negative opinions of other people about this war. I am proud to say that I am a soon to be Army wife!
