Friiday, August 20, 2010.
Marine Cpl. Tyler Southern of Jacksonville, FL lost his legs and an arm while fighting for his country in Afghanistan. A rally was quickly put together upon hearing of his arrival home. What started out as a small group of folks, turned into THOUSANDS of people from across Jacksonivlle & even out of state. Tyler arrived in Jacksonville with his dad from Bethesda, MD, along with a motorcycle group & the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. These two groups escorted Tyler into the Mandarin area of Jacksonville. It also just happens to be this young man's 21st birthdday.
I was honored to be apart of such an amazing gathering of people, most of who, like myself, had never met this brave young man
Warning: Turn the volume down. Due to several women behind/next to me, the video at times gets kind of loud. Sorry in advance if I blow your ear drums out.
