    Westboro Baptist Church Pepper Sprayed


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ke4yqd and concerned citizens were outside the funeral for Staff Sergeant Michael Bock this morning in Omaha, Nebraska, as several members of Westboro Baptist Church protested. Everything was calm until a man in a truck drove up to the crowd and pepper sprayed everyone. ke4yqd was one of the four people that were directly hit – he’s the red-faced man in photo two. The Omaha Police Department confirmed that this incident happened and that the man was arrested for multiple counts of assault.

    At around 10:30 am in Omaha Nebraska, the Westboro Baptist Church based out of Topeka, KS and a large group of innocent bystanders there protesting the church's activity, were attacked by a driver with a can of pepper spray.  Four adults and one child were severely affected, by the spray and were treated by paramedics who arrived minutes later.  The Westboro Baptist church left immediately there after.  The driver of the truck was arrested and will be charged with multiple accounts of assault .
