    Flooding in Pakistan

    More from Bhatnewpics

Heavy rain washes some parts of NH8

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Bhatnewpics of Mumbai, India, says, 'The videos mainly show how heavy or even excess rains have damaged very busy national highway connecting Mumbai with other parts of the country. As I said every year, if heavy rain occurs, millions of are rupees needed to repair the damage. The length could be several thousands kilometers, which the government may assess only after monsoon stops,' he said.

Hi.. I have been keeping close eye on India-monsoon 2010. As I said in some parts of the country there is dry weather where as in north India and western India...to  be frankly today in Mumbai there was and is (at 1.16 am midnight) heavy rain. During the day in a town called Vasai  some of the three wheelers refused to go to industrial areas. There was traffic jam today morning as there was one accident on the highway and the Mumbai Ahmedabad highway NH8 at the outskirts of Mumbai is partially wahshed this year due to heavy rain which gets hammered by heavy vehicular traffic and continuous rain as you can see in my videos... vehicular movement was like a boat sailing in the stormy water. Even I was inside the bus thebus was dancing to the tunes of  large pathholes..as you can see one of the videos... and as usual the National Highway authority will be able to estimate the  total loss to national highways damaged due to heavy rain only after a month once the monsoon stop. time being rain still continues  though many parts of India has received already excess rain.... if the rain continues it can damage crop also. And finally enjoy the cloud setting on the sky at an industrial area before it poured. post by shripad...Mumbai India. I shot my video report on a road hence the visual may not be clear but you can hear my voice over. thank god it is not flooding severely here as you see in Pak.
