    Discovery Headquarters Hostage Situation

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JLeta told me, "I was actually about to head out of the building for an errand during lunch when a police officer started yelling at me as I was walking out of the building. He told me to "Get back! Go back inside!" and then immediately barracaded everyone around me back into the office building."
    - Asiegel1202, CNN iReport producer

Police take action mid-afternoon to control a hostage situation at the headquarters of Discovery Channel.  The first video shows a swat team member running quickly for cover towards a bus stop and trash cans near the entrance to the lobby of the building.

The second video shows a swat team sniper crawling on his hands in knees to the safety of cover up against the wall directly in front of the lobby where James Lee was holding hostages.

The third video again shows the swat team sniper army-crawling across the sidewalk to avoid being noticed by James Lee in the lobby while he assembles his rifle.

The last video shows two swat team members hanging off the side of an armored vehicle as it pulls up near the entrace to the lobby of Discovery channel headquarters as they jump off.

All videos were shot directly facing the Discovery headquarters and lobby from my office across the street at 1010 Wayne Ave.
