    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GBoneillo, an oceanographer in Norfolk, Va., took these photos with a Cannon 40D. For the sunset, he used a graduated neutral density filter and adjusted the contrast. 'I was photographing the water, doing the shots of the pier, and then my girlfriend was with me and said you should turn around. It was 60 seconds after the sunset. There was that pink in the sky,' he said.
