Some Of The Best Fighters In MMA Hit Jersey City
UCC 3, A premier martial arts event comes to The Jersey City Armory, September 10th 2010. The UCC always brings you a stacked card. This event is no different. Some of the best MMA fight teams are going to be there. Teams such as American Top Teamjust to name a few. These teams are some of the best in the business. If you want to be a fighter in MMA these are the teams you talk to Renzo Gracie Academy, Bomb Squad, and Iron Horse MMA,
I had the opportunity to talk with David Colabella who is a fighter for Team Iron Horse, a company owned and run by Mike Massenzio, a great MMA fighter in his own right. You can check him out at;

He has been putting together a great team from the best that N.J. has to offer. David Colabella is one of these guys. He has a strong will to win and the practice ethic to back it up. He is a great striker who also has tremendous ground skills. He has been training with Iron Horse for some time now and Massenzio has made sure that he is ready for this fight. Colabella said he trains for all his opponents the same way. At this level, they are all strong skilled fighters, you can't take anyone of them lightly.
During this training session, Colabella had different types and styles of fighters going at him. Throughout the hours of practice while I was there he trained against different fighters, from the lighter speed oriented to the heavier power punching brawler with only a few minutes of rest in between. He practices 2 to 3 hours a day for weeks, if not months, to get ready for a possible15 minutes bout. Now thats dedication. So you want to be an MMA fighter! Thats what it takes. Colabella is in the 205 weight division and has a little more than a week to go before fight night. He really looks ready to go.
UCC has brought together some of the best fighters from some of the best teams in MMA for one night of great non-stop action.
