    Burning the Quran on 9/11

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     'I decided to share my opinion about the Quran burning because we cannot continue to do is be paralyzed by uncertainty and move about like there is nothing we can do about attacks against Islam, religious insult and guilt by association,' said ksabra. What's your take on Pastor Jones and the planned Quran burning? Upload your video here.
    - katie, CNN iReport producer

If every Quran were eliminated tomorrow, if would not destroy the love of Islam enjoyed by over a billion Muslims. We carry the love of our God in our heart- the words come second. Those bent on creating hate and hostility between religious groups, may well want to rethink what it means to be a moral and spiritual person. He may well ask himself if his actions are truly in the service of God. By actions and words, the events organizers, have de-emphasized our responsibility as citizens and human beings, to himself and to those he represents.

He has also failed to deliver an important message; that history has placed us all, Muslim, Jew, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu within a common land and under a common law, All of us, from the strongest to the weak, share one prized possession: the name American.

Being an American means to have been once foreign and a stranger. So when Reverend Jones spews hatred for Muslims and Islam and seeks to deny them their rights, he also denies America.
