    Marriage is for White People?

The article states that marriage is for white people because the number of single white women is far lower than that of black women. I find this article to not only be racist and ignorant but also lacking any depth regarding the facts. Here is the way to interpret these facts: In 2006 it was estimated that 117,000 couples were interracial. It is also estimated that there are around 40 million black people in america. That equals 0.3% of the black population in the US. Which means, the VAST VAST majority of black women are seeking out black men for love and marriage. Now, as the statistics in the article show, black women outnumber black men in higher learning 2-1! That is a HUGE discrepency. This will also translate into the workforce, with women earning higher salaries and being offered more powerful positions. Thusly, the reason why there are more black single women out there is because they are looking for a black man who can keep up and meet their new expectations and sadly, black men CAN NOT DO IT!! They are currently not up to the task, which has continually disappointed the black women who are looking to them for love. Black men have to step up and start following the example of the females in this nation if they want to get anywhere in life. This is not an issue of "Black and White" This is an issue of Male vs. Female and the black man is losing this race badly! Black women, if you're looking for love, marriage success, a steady homelife, etc., until these folks straighten themselves out, find yourself a nice white guy! :)
