    Priorities

     

    I can remember that I was in my second year of study at college and I skipped class that day to watch the verdict being read out. It was amazing to me that this was happening. I remember thinking that no matter what the verdict was going to be, OJ would never be viewed in the same light as before. And I could imagine that the events of the past year could ignite emotions between a deeply divided community in the US. I wondered each time I looked at OJ's face, if he was guilty or not. And I wondered that, if he was, what drove him to do what he did. But in the end, US justice had the last word. Like it or not, OJ was innocent.
