    Sumner lake Manassas Fire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     molino was getting ready to take his children to the bus stop when a neighbor alerted him to a massive fire burning in the neighborhood. He lives at Sumner Lake across from where the fires occurred yesterday.

    Fire on September 23 at the upscale neighborhood of Sumner Lake in Manassas which destroyed at least three houses and damaged another five. Cause of the fire is under investigation and is believed to have started at the house in the middle of the three destroyed. Fire fighters from as far as Dale city responded to the alarm as well as Lake Jackson and others. There was litlle that could be done for the three houses engulfed and only containment to avoid the fire from spreading.
