This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Ask Dr. Sanjay Gupta

    PCOS, IBS, Total Thyroidectomy

Managing weight, acne, and overall health could be a challenge for anyone. What if you're diagnosed with PCOS, IBS, and had a total thyroidectomy due to cancer?

I am 39, and suddenly found myself riddled with large blemishes and acne bumps across my jawline...very depressing! Two years ago I weighed 205lbs, today I am 167lbs. Although, I've lost weight, it is extremely difficult and getting rid of this last 35/40 pounds is proving impossible.

I follow a healthy meal and exercise plan...this is not my issue! What else can I do? I take spironolactone for the PCOS and Synthroid of the thyroid. Any recommendations?
