Celebrities Celebrate Animals.. PETA'S 30th Gala & Humanitarian Awards!!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Pixel spoke with loads of celebrities at PETA'S 30th Anniversary Gala in Hollywood, California, on Saturday. Alec Baldwin, Pamela Anderson, Anjelica Huston and more talked about giving a voice to animals. 'I was amazed how many people really were animal activist, vegetarians, vegans, no leather. They were doing more than going Naked for PETA; they are living by their beliefs of protecting animals' she said.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Alec Baldwin hosted PETA'S 30th Anniversary Gala in Hollywood, California. A star studded crowd came out to take part in a night that honored animals & the people that have offered their time & celebrity for many of PETA'S campaigns.

Many won PETA'S Humanitarian Award, including: Angelica Huston, Charo, Eva Mendes, Kellan Lutz, and Olivia Munn. I met  Olivia at a PETA protest against the Ringling Bros Circus.. I was happy that she too received a humanitarian award. Well deserved, Olivia's efforts are sincere, tireless, and passionate for the safety of animals.

Bryan Adams performed "Everything I Do" and the evening was filled with  tributes that moved the audience to tears.

Stop & think is the message... What are you eating,  what are you purchasing, where did it come from & more importantly... want kind of suffering did that animal have to endure for your purchase or consumption?? PETA is here to say, "It is time to stop & think"

After 30 years of work on educating people on the inhumane ways animals are treated, it is no surprise that PETA is getting celebrity support. I spoke with many on the Red Carpet that where vegetarian or vegan...  dedicating their lives to help make a change for the lives and well being of animals.
