    Abandoned ancient Cave City Vanis Kvabebi in Georgia (country, not the state) is one of the gems of this beautiful country. Actually, this is a cave monastery founded in 8th century and burned by invaders several times.

    Now it is not very popular among tourists, which is good - you can walk and climb alone in its caves and along steep pathways.
