    BP had Tony Hayward sitting on the throne , but in truth Hayward was a business lackey with not much knowledge of operations in the oil field

     

    Tony Hayward had Andy Inglis behind him making all of the operational decisions for BP

     

    Andy Inglis was one of the key reasons BP's people in the field took short cuts

     

    Andy Inglis knew of all operational short cuts and the effects they would have and turned a blind eye to them to increase profits and remain the # 2 man over BP

     

    The leadership at BP was inept in Tony Hayward and corrupt in Andy Inglis
