    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter ZainabSultan got to know Saad Ismail Khalifa Al Jassim while walking through the open air market Souq Wakis in Doha, Qatar. “I thought an older man on a laptop in an interesting shop would have a good story,” she says.

    Pearl diving was the main source of income for many Qataris about 70 years back. This video is a story of a man who started as a pearl diver in the early years and transformed himself according to the changing economy of Qatar.
