    Global Climate Action Day

Last year, this one single day inspired 5200 events across 181 countries -- 350.org's global climate action day to promote global action against climate change.  CNN called it "the most widespread day of political action in the planet's history." This year 350.org is projecting 7000 events across 188 countries for 10.10.10. The entire world is in on the action, and it's going to be BIG.

While villages, towns and cities around the world are going to be celebrating change for a day, it's really about kicking off an entire year of conscious, ongoing environmental initiatives. People everywhere are stepping up to the plate with inspiring ideas, small and large. Even in the most unexpected places -- like little, relatively unknown villages in the heart of Mexico. And there's some heavyweights stepping up too -- like the White House residence, announcing solar roof plans in time for 10.10.10.
