iReport boot camp: Editing the story

I started collecting Disneyana (which is a term used by collectors of Disney items)  about 30 years ago.  At first, I collected anything I saw that I liked that I could afford.  Pins, buttons, silly souvenirs, postcards, figurines you name it,  I would collect it.  It was fairly easy for me to collect Disneyana since I live about 4 miles from Disneyland.

Display started to become a problem and the worry about earthquake damage was also a factor in my deciding to limit my collection to the characters that I really liked, like, Tinkerbell, Snow White, Cinderella and most of the classics.

I never collected the Fab 5, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy or Goofy because to me they were too common.

My collection grew so big I had to really choose which character I wanted to keep collecting and stop with the others.  I chose Maleficent, the evil fairy from Sleeping Beauty, why, I have no idea, maybe she reminded me of myself back then lol.  She is by far the least good looking Disney Villain, but when I look at her, I see beauty, beauty in the eyes of the Disney Imagineers, yes that is a word, that designed her.
