    A Happy Ending

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AlexPT says people usually celebrate football matches and other sorts of things in Plaza Italia, but after the miners were rescued, the area lit up with Chile's jubilation.
    - nsaidi, CNN iReport producer

Throughout history, the country in the corner of the world has seen many catastrophes. The nation was hit many times by natures worst disasters including two of the worst earthquakes in the history of humanity. But although all hope was lost, this nation, the Chilean nation, has known how to build hope out of nothing. We had an Earthquake and as a united nation we helped those in need, and now that all hopes were lost we found all of the miners and got them out safe and sound. One of the local newspapers published that there was a 2% chance of finding them alive in the first 17 days and they are here with us. It may have been the government that got them out but it was thanks to the support of every single Chilean from Arica to Punta Arenas.
