    Half Moon Bay, CA - Biggest Pumpkin of 2010

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ozfan1951 says she's lived in the bay area for years, but never went to the pumpkin festival until this weekend. She and her friends sampled pumpkin pie and pumpkin pancakes, and of course got a glimpse of this giant pumpkin during the parade!

    I attended the annual Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay, CA today.  This festival draws thousands of people over the two day event.  One of the highlights for visitors, is seeing the largest pumpkin of the season - this year weighing in at 1,535 lbs - pictured in the attached photo.
