This iReport is part of an assignment:
Do you have a unique name? |
danr2013
Part of our heritage is native american on my dad's side. When I was born I was very tiny. when my grand mother first saw me she took to calling me washehtahay, which means little bird because she said I was as tiny as a sparrow. 55 years later the family still calls me the shortened version, Washy. I hated it when I was a kid but it grew on me as an adult because there were no other washys that I ever heard about. I liked the uniqueness.
