    Mesquite Festival a Local Landmark

Mesquite Art Festival is a local landmark in Fredricksburg, Texas.  The widespread appreciation of Lone Star Wood is displayed  during the Texas Mesquite Art Festival.

It is the largest Mesquite selection of art in the world. Visitors from all over come to enjoy the works of art displayed by the artists using their medium, Mesquite Wood.

I was amazed to see the creativity exploded by the artists using the Texas Wood as their tool for displaying their works of art and visual displays.

One artist decided to use Mesquite Wood to create a lamp. Another artist chose to make a table to show the grains of wood over the years.  Another artist used a piece of wood that some would say it was firewood, to save for a unique sculpture.  The sculpture happened to represent over 800 years of history.
