Meet the Pumpkin Carvemaster
On Sunday October 24th, the north end of Central Park, by the beautiful Harlem Meer, was the scene of the 20th Annual Halloween Celebration.
The event included a pumpkin carving demonstration by Todd Pugsley.
Pugsley, a 40 year old architect originally from Washington, DC living in New York, started carving about 14 years ago.
He captivated the audience, specially the young ones, with a step-by-step demonstration of the process, from start to finish.
He carved about 6 or 7 pumpkins throughout the event, including one of a face that could be in Mt Rushmore, a wild cat and a bat.
