Macarena Rose is my name. I can tell you having a name, like Macarena has been a unique challenge and blessing all wrapped up in one. My whole legal name is Macarena Marcela Isabela Linda Septima de Marlor- Hall Rose.

I was named after the patron Saint of the bullfighters in Spain, La Virgen de la Macarena.

Being an American, peoplealways questioned as how I ever was given my name.

Then when the Macarena song came out  the fun began for sure,, and still to this day, when i walk into a room,, people inevitably start singing and dancing; "Hey, Macarena !".

I am so thrilled people can have fun with me and my name, well, most of the time,lol.

I get all the jokes, hey did you change your name when the song came out ,, did they name you after a macaroni,, or a nut,, ?? I tell folks to google my name, so they will know I am a real person, some make me show ID as they do nto beleive it, and well, it goes on,,

I for sure, am thankful my name is Macarena, as no matter where I go, people never forget me,, which,, well, can always be either a blessing or a curse,,,, so it has always kept me on the straight and arrow,, as my name could never be confused with someone else , lol !
