    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     dinalee isn’t really into sports, but she 'felt the excitement and noticed that people were really happy the Giants are in the World Series, so I decided to document some of the energy,' she said.

    A few pics of the scene outside ATT park during game 1 of the World Series. The Giants won that night.

    The scene outside the stadium appears to be one big party, but thats the way people are here, and yes many SF-ers(short for San Franciscan) smoke weed. Just walking around I could feel the excitement, and people were happy for a change. Not sure if the happiness is pot related, but I don't smoke it, and I was happy and excited that many SF-ers were happy and excited. The Giants wins'  and now the 1st two games of the World Series has generally made thousands of Bay Area residents elated. For an area that has been hit very hard by the economic depression it is a nice change.
