Hi, my name is Crystal. Now I know its not entirely a unique name, but there is a unique meaning behind the name Crystal.

I swear the name Crystal is the only name that has the most spellings for it. Growing up everyone would butcher my name on invitations, school projects, the newspaper, applying for a loan everywhere. Also the name Crystal means just as it says. A Crystal. People would comment on the meaning of my name and how "dull" it was, that and its not a commonly used name these days, in school I got called, Crystal Clear, Crystal Light, and even Crystal Meth!! (A boss of mine started that!) Oh and Crystal Gail after the country singer..

When I was younger I wanted to change it so bad, and I used to pretend my name was Emily. But it just wasn't me. It didn't fit my quirky personality. Now I have grown to love my name and I don't get teased so much about it now that I am older.. But people at work still call me Crystal Clear when im acting "air headed..!!" lol
