However, due to the intense frustration and anger that the Burmese felt about the sham election, the scene outside the embassy flared up, when many protesters burned the junta's new flag, as well as a copy of the 2008 constitution.'

On the day of the sham election in Burma, many hundreds of Burmese refugees in Tokyo, gathered outside the Myanmar Embassy to protest against the regime.
Their anger was vented when many Burmese burnt the new Myanmar flag and 2008 constitution in protest.
