    US Capitol Christmas Tree

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AaronInWy says he lives near the area where the tree was being loaded up.
    - nsaidi, CNN iReport producer

The 2010 Christmas Tree left Jackson, WY today to begins it's journey across the nation. The tree was packaged into a plywood box. Workers managed to "shrink" it from a width of 33 feet down to 8 feet using parachute cord. To keep the tree green on it's trip it will take up to 65 gallons of water per day. From the Bridger Teton National Forest to DC.  We bid you adieu oh grand Christmas Tree!!
