The 2010 Christmas Tree left Jackson, WY today to begins it's journey across the nation. The tree was packaged into a plywood box. Workers managed to "shrink" it from a width of 33 feet down to 8 feet using parachute cord. To keep the tree green on it's trip it will take up to 65 gallons of water per day.
