CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ky42 has been collecting McDonald’s toys for years, but this series from Pixar’s 'Cars' movie is the only complete set he owns—and he owns four complete sets of this series. Gower recruited the help of friends and co-workers to complete the four sets. He would ask them to purchase the toys for him, if they went to McDonald’s. Gower says, 'The movie is what draws me to collect the toy. Some people just collect the memorabilia because it says McDonalds.' When asked his opinion on the recent San Francisco ordinance regarding kid’s meal toys, Gower replied, 'It's a shame to abruptly stop people from collecting McDonald's memorabilia. That’s like saying you can't go out and buy a Ronald McDonald doll.' He continues, 'I don't think the toys encourage people to buy the unhealthy meals. I go in and buy the toys by themselves. A lot of times I don't even let them [my kids] have the meal.'

this is my collection of Pixar cars for McDonalds.

I think it is just crazy to get rid of the toys.

If they do put a stop to the toys.I think McDonalds should at least give the parents the option of buying the toy separately from the meal.I have myself bought a regular meal and ask to buy a toy to add to my collection.
