This iReport is part of an assignment:
    The search for good schools

    More from Ulman

School is almost out in Chile... and then

... a long summer holiday. It's been quite the year !

First the earthquake, the tsunami, the elections and the coldest winter in over 100 years... and then the country got together and prayed for the miners.

In this video, students and professors are getting together to look at some "works" we produced in the last year.

At this University there is strong emphasis on 21st Century learning skills...

The students are very computer savvy, some use their phones to upload their homework... We also use facebook to communicate and to do assignments.

The emphasis is on process skills for lifelong learning. We use a discovery and inquiry based approach coupled with real-world, real-time learning from multiple sources...

All students seen in this video have CNN iReport accounts and their writing skills are evaluated via this medium.

Chile from a young people's perspective... was one the several projects we did this semester...

Thank you... CNN iReport for providing this platform.
