FLO Sweetens Airport Experience With Card

FLOTM (Fast Lane Option) is a program that allows airline travelers to forgo all the security lines at the airport. With this card a traveler would be screened and on the way within 3 minutes "FLOTM was born out of a need for customer service and a predictable airport experience where a traveler can always have a five minute or less airport security experience", according to Fred Fischer, Senior VP of Sales for FLO. To save time an enrollee should start the enrollment process online at http://www.flocard.com/ where you can get a registration number before you see the FLOTM agent to finish up the process. The process to get one is simple, generally under ten minutes. # You must have two forms of ID (Passport, Drivers License, or Birth Certificate) # Have picture taken by FLOTM agent. # A scan is made of your fingerprints. # An iris scan is taken of your eye. When the enrollment process is completed, your information is sent off to TSA for a thorough background screening. Upon approval, you will receive your card in about 2-3 weeks. It is ready for use upon receipt. At the airport, you just look for the sign that says registered user, put your card in, and confirm your identity with your fingerprint or iris. By using Biometrics, there is no chance that someone can steal and use your card. The FLOTM card offers more benefits than the speedy airport entry. Depending on the program you choose, you can have your SSN and credit card monitored. They also have arranged for several discounts for cardholders. Business travelers and frequent flyers will find this program most useful and affordable. The cost of this useful tool starts at $100, which is renewable yearly. The biometrics is good for 5 years. This 3 year old company has made a dent in the travel world by providing travelers something useful that eliminates wasted time in security lines in an airport .
