    Scattered amid Palau's dramatic limestone islands are over 50 marine lakes, five of them containing endemic jellyfish species, such as Mastigias papua etpisonii seen here.  This particular lake, locally known as Ongeim'l Tketau, harbors millions of jellies and the population expands and contracts according to how cool or warm the water is.
