This iReport is part of an assignment:
The truth about Santa Claus
My daughters have "known" there isn't a Santa for a few years. We didn't have to tell them, their school mates and television told them. When they asked us the question, we informed them that if they didn't believe in Santa, then no more Santa presents. They quickly caught the idea and we get pictures with Santa every year, including our dogs!
They in turn decided that if they believed in the spirit of Santa then others should too. So every year, we all make sure to donate toys to Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, and we help with Adopt-A-Family programs. The girls really get into the spirit of giving "Santa presents" to those who really need the hope the season gives.
