This iReport is part of an assignment:
Beating the heat |
A swim is all that my dog needs
Today it's 88 in Newtown, PA. Not near a triple digit, but still pretty darn hot. I have 3 labradors, a breed that is of high energy, and needs exercise daily. Walking in 88 degrees is just out of the question, which is totally fine with them, as their alternative form of exercise is swimming.
Here's a picture of Nellie, swimming at Lake Luxembourg, at Core Creek Park in Middletown Township, of Bucks County, PA
I got to cool off by standing in the water up to my knees. What a great day at the park. :)
(btw: I tried uploading more photos but it seemed to have frozed up, so 1 photo for now will have to do)
