    Mojave Desert Floods and levee failures

     

    The normally bone dry riverbed of the Mojave Desert usually contains little to no water, is now a raging torent that reached 19 feet. 3 feet above the flood stage, occording to local news. Now levee failures are flooding farm lands and areas of Ore Grande and Barstow.
