Thermo Wars in Connecticut
Hello! My husband and I just got married and had moved into a house about months prior to that. The number one thing that we fought about before and after the wedding was the heat. We have an older house that had very little insullation in the walls and our heating bills were huge (for us, $400 in peak months). Yes, we both like to conserve, but he went a bit over board and would put it at 58 or 59 at night and when we were home maybe put it up to 63. It was ice cold.....
About two weeks ago however, we got insullation blown into our walls. We keep it at 65, 66 when we are home and 60 when we are gone, but the house keeps the heat so much better and we don't have our fights nearly as often:) yea!!!!
