This iReport is part of an assignment:
The new face of 50 |
High flying Botox Treatment at 50
I decided to go skydiving with my graduate class. I felt that if I was their leader in class I needed to show them I would be the first to skydive.
Fifty has brought me a calm that I did not have before. I know that if I don't do things that make me happy and challenge me now, I may not get the chance later. I am taking more chances, having more fun, smiling more and trying to surround myself with like minded people.
I also have two boys ages 12 and 14 so I have to stay young to keep up with them. I have been married 29 years and hope to be more at least 29 more and then some.
I teach college and learn so much from my students about changes, what's hot, what's fun and what's important.
So far, no real botox although my kids do tease me about being wrinkled and the oldest mom in their class. They still tell me I run rings around their friends younger moms.
I love being 50 so far.
