    1st High School Student-Run Credit Union Opens

    Member makes a deposit and marks the beginning of a unique partnership between Paterson Public Schools and North Jersey Federal Credit Union. Named as “The Castle,” 27 students have opened the first, curriculum-based Student-Run Banking Program in New Jersey.  Twenty-seven (27) students from grades 10-12 have already undergone comprehensive training and will now operate the new credit union branch at their high school.  Credit Union members can actually do thier banking at the branch and make deposits and withdrawals just as they would at any other North Jersey Federal branch.
