    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Graphie shot these photos at a freezing cold demonstration on January 15. 'My best friend is Tunisian, so I'm really close to what's happening there,' she told me. 'I would like things to be less violent. She is in favor of the revolution, but she's afraid of what is going on [because] her family is there.'

    Sometimes, one needs to face the storm not to miss an appointment with history, so despite the terrible weather we had in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon, I went on Parliament Hill to capture images of the solidarity demonstration held by the Tunisian diaspora. There is no doubt that the snow gave a surreal look to the whole event.
