On September 25, 2002, The Joshua Foundation and the U.S. Mission to the U.N. co-sponsored the first "Jazz for Peace (JFP) Concert" featuring world renowned jazz pianist and vocalist Rick DellaRatta at the United Nations in New York City. This concert is now recognized worldwide as "One of the most significant cultural events of our time!" and has led to a benefit concert series that has since helped over 700 organizations in 8 years including their upcoming event on Feb. 19th in Kenya, Africa to provide economic and social development in the local communities and preserve the Masai Mara - www.jazzforpeace.org/kenya.

This latest Africa event has inspired a new partnership between A Better Community For All (ABC4All) and Jazz for Peace (JFP) to expand these relief efforts worldwide.
According to Burton Danet, Ph.D., Co-Founder of ABC4All, "Jazz For Peace (JFP) offers nonprofits and NGOs worldwide opportunities to participate in ABC4All FUNdraising™ Edutainment Concerts and the ability to apply for a grant through the JFP Foundation. This major effort by JFP already has made its global mark, and now the partnership with ABC4All catapults both to being able to engage in 'mandated action for what the world needs now!' Jazz for Peace's assistance in helping to create Global Humanitarian Relief (GHR) for anyone alive who is receptive is more than outstanding."
