Ignored in Flint
I am one of those democrats in Flint Michigan who has spent the last 8 years feeling ignored and invisible. We even managed to have our primary ingored by our own DNC. Flint and its people have played by the "rules". What did we get? Some of the highest unemployment, crime, and high School drop out rates in the nation. It is time for the rules to change in favor of the Average Joe.
I decided that, for the first time in my 34 years as a voter that I had to go the next step or I would have nothing to complain about. I joined the Obama campaign and am devoting most of my off hours to registering voters and speading the word. We may still be ignored, but it is going to be a lot harder to do.
