Over 30.000 people rally against Belgium's political impasse

January 23 2011 - Brussels - More than 200 days after the latest belgian elections an estimated 30.000 people from all ages and from the different linguistic regions walked peacefully through the european capital. They gathered in Brussels to demonstrate their concern and anger with Belgium's political impasse.  Most people present in the streets of Brussels today find the political situation intolerable and have had enough of the inability to find consensus by the political establishment allowing to form a belgian government.  The initiative to demonstrate came from several students from the Brussels' university VUB.  They believe politicians aren’t concerned enough with the citizens’ social-economic issues.
