    Egyptian Revolution - Military Presence

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     marianamin is an American living in a suburb an hour north of Cairo and says her friends and neighbors 'don't know who they want in, but they just know they want Mubarak out ... Their thinking is he had 30 years to make changes. Even though he's done a lot of good for business ... for a lot of average Egyptians, he's just let them down.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

This photo was taken on February 1st, 2011.  We ventured out in the morning to the 10th District in Cairo to fill our car with gas.  Even though we were told that the police were back out in force, we did not see any police - even as we drove by the Mubarak Police Academy.  Police stations were burned.  We found tanks everywhere and I was warned by a soldier no to photograph the military.   As we drove onto Suez Road on our way home, a military checkpoint armed with tanks stopped us asked my husband for his ID and our car was searched.  They were stopping everyone as a precautionary measure.
